Ethanol is the fuel of the future, and
our expertise is taking it in a whole new direction. Produced from
a starch grain or other vegetation-based sources, ethanol is principally
used as a gasoline additive designed to improve the quality of vehicle
emissions and engine performance. The Federal Clean Air Act Amendments
of 1990 contain target air quality measures that have increased pressure
on state and local governments to require additives in gasoline,
thereby reducing levels of automobile exhaust, particularly in major
metropolitan areas.
However, as fossil fuels become harder to find, the U.S. trend
is moving toward the use of ethanol as an alternative fuel source
(such as "E85," which is a 85% ethanol/15% gasoline
blend). White Energy is well positioned to meet the demands that
making ethanol as an alternative fuel source creates. |
