White Energy is one of the nation’s largest ethanol producers. It operates three state-of-the-art ethanol production facilities with the capacity to produce more than 300 million gallons of renewable biofuels a year. It distributes fuel to the world’s leading oil companies, domestically and abroad.
White Energy is the largest producer of vital wheat gluten in North America. It produces quality, high protein gluten each year — more than half of the nation’s entire gluten supply. The gluten is sold under the Heartland brand name to many of the most iconic names in the food and beverage industry.
During the production of ethanol and gluten, White Energy captures materials that can be converted into valuable co-products. Many of these products, such as distillers grains and wheat midds, are used as high-protein sources of animal feed.
